With Climate Week underway, the Biden administration sent top aides to New York to tout the President’s clean energy achievements. On the state level, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) is poised to sign SB 253 to require companies earning over a certain threshold to disclose Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. Finally, the United Nations Secretary Antonio Guterres will host a Climate Action Summit to discuss the status of the Paris climate agreement goals.
